Founded in 2022.

How we started

In Portugal, we started in 2022 in the city of Portimão, focusing on educational support projects for children and young people. We provide study assistance for students from 1st to 9th grade to promote academic success and personal growth.
We also run social integration programs and solidarity initiatives for vulnerable families, organizing workshops, leisure activities, and life skills programs so that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream.

The Lighthouse Global is a charitable initiative of the Vale de Bênção Community, a non-profit association dedicated to illuminating paths and transforming lives, with a special focus on education and human development.

We believe that education is the key to breaking cycles of poverty and opening doors to a better future. Therefore, our projects include educational programs, training for children and youth, skills development, and literacy promotion, always tailored to the needs of the communities we serve.

Beyond education, we engage in social and missionary projects, supporting families in vulnerable situations and promoting actions that bring hope, dignity, and opportunities. This short film reveals the hidden side of Zanzibar — a reality often overlooked amid its natural beauty. During our first three-week trip with Lighthouse Global, we connected with local communities, served those in extreme poverty, and experienced life beyond the tourist perspective.
